User guide

Turn a PDF into an embeddable desktop and mobile flipbook.

This guide walks registered users through creating a flipbook, uploading separate desktop and phone versions, copying the embed code, and placing the finished book on another website.

What you can make

A hosted flipbook with a public link, an iframe embed, realistic page turning, optional phone-optimized pages, custom colors, and reader analytics.

Desktop flipbook

Use the normal book PDF for computers, laptops, and tablets.

Mobile flipbook

Upload a separate phone-shaped PDF for smaller iPhone and Android screens.

The process from PDF to flipbook

Sign in and open the dashboard.

Enter the book title.

Upload a desktop PDF, a mobile PDF, or both.

Let the pages render into flipbook images.

Open the book settings page.

Copy the public link or iframe embed code.

Paste the iframe into BookFunnels, WordPress, another Lovable site, or any page that accepts custom HTML.

Two formats

Use one version or two separate versions

Desktop PDF

Upload your normal book PDF. This is best for laptops, desktop screens, and tablets.

Mobile PDF

Upload a separate phone-shaped PDF when small-screen readability matters. Aim for a standard smaller iPhone shape, around 375 by 667 points.

If both versions exist, the viewer automatically serves the mobile version to phone readers and the desktop version to larger screens. A reader can also switch manually inside the viewer.

Put the flipbook on another Lovable website

Open the book settings page, copy the Embed code, then paste it into any page that accepts custom HTML. The other site only displays the hosted flipbook; it does not need to process the PDF.

In another Lovable app, ask Lovable to add the iframe as a full-width responsive embed. Start around 700 pixels tall, then adjust the height if the viewer feels cramped.

Keep it current

Brand, update, or replace each version

Branding

Choose the viewer background, accent color, and powered-by visibility for each book.

Replace

Replace the desktop or mobile PDF independently when a book changes.

Delete

Remove one version as long as the other version still exists.

Reader activity

Analytics continue working inside embeds

The analytics area tracks opens, unique reader sessions, page views, and page-by-page reading activity. These events still record when the flipbook appears inside another website because the viewer is loaded from Integral Flipbook.

Before you publish

Quick checklist

Create or export the desktop PDF.

Create or export the mobile PDF if phone readability matters.

Upload one or both PDFs in Integral Flipbook.

Open the book settings page.

Copy the public link or iframe code.

Paste the iframe into the other website.

Test the page on desktop and phone.

Check analytics after readers begin using it.

Common fixes

Troubleshooting

The flipbook does not appear on another website

Make sure the iframe code was pasted into a custom HTML area, not a normal text paragraph.

The flipbook is clipped

Increase the iframe height in the embed code.

Phone readers see the desktop version

Upload a mobile PDF for that book. If no mobile version exists, the viewer uses desktop.
